My Possible Last Post here....

Langkawi again...

After my 7th time of visiting Langkawi...(3 times in this year ... haha) I still find that it is a great place to chill! after the motor biking, shopping, chill at the beach... Eat 6 meal a day... do nothing, sleep... ha ha. I think I'm good for the next few busy month!

I think we did a good job!

after 2 weeks of preparation and planning and.... finally is over. well or I should say it is just the beginning for another level.
I was a great two night we have... lots of surprise, fun, love and happiness going on.

Surprise - some old friend shows up! Edward the legendary pianist, who make it good in Boston were there, Choon Wei, the least expected attendants were there too!

Fun - We enjoy the music so much! and mistakes... ha ha

Love - Lots of friend come to support us! that is something that money can't buy! If you were there and reading this, I wanna thank you for coming for the gig ya!

Happiness - We did it! ha ha.

Hope to do more stuff next time and with some of our own material as well...

Update.... Urban Tribes.. My New Band !

At last I start to write something.... thanks to some very supportive friends to get me started...
well I'm getting my own band - "URBAN TRIBES" starting and playing at Bangkok Jazz, Chulan Square this Friday & Saturday 21st & 22nd sept. start at about 10pm.
Been busy preparing those music. all new song. I would say is new stuff to most of Malaysian... we will see...

AIM = Anugerah Industri Music (MUZIK) !?

I'm just wondering why is AIM (Anugerah Industri Muzik) in Malaysia only has Malay and English music... but no Indian, Chinese... or other.. this is weird, cause when chinese music have music award they will specifically state that Chinese pop music award...etc

Not only that, Music industry means pop music only? how about Jazz, Funk, Traditional...etc?

Hope some body can answer me.... well, maybe never...

Well, I was in Bangsar few days ago, wanted to eat something, so I went to this corner Mamak store call something like DAY WEE's corner....... well, what I eat was a friend chicken + some Cabbage + Mix Vegetable all in only ONE plate.

this is the total bill I HAVE to pay : -

Fried Chicken = RM 3.50
Cabbage = RM 1.50
Mix Vegetable = RM 3.00

I will not go to that place to eat again, and I hope you'll take caution when you eat at these place.....

It has been wonderful since I accepted Jesus as my savior..... after about 6 month of working, praying, seeking....etc. It is great, everything has been changing.....

I'm still searching for my purpose in life, but I'm sure it has been plan... what I have to do is just keep on praying and work on what he has put me into....

I'm so amaze that the position he has place me into... I have the privilege to work with so many great leaders in the music industry. Mac Chew, Jenni Chin, Jonathan Lee, Greg, Julian, David Gomes.... while I'm still wonder why, he gave me another opportunity or challenge to play for the 4 Diva show coming in May in Bangkok, then just few days ago, I got a call to play for another great show which is the 3 Diva (Kris Dayanti, Ruth Sahanaya and Titi DJ) from Indonesia !

This time I get to meet these great musician like Erwin Gutawa and gang.... what an experience...

I feel so bless that god has put me into this position..... what I will do now is I'll prepare my self to be better to do his work....

Wow, I'm now listening to Mo' better blues... by Branford Marsalis... suits my mood...
